How we score growth
The Growth Index is a weighted score combining four signals from the SaaS Database API:
- Headcount delta (12m) — net employee growth, normalised by company size band.
- Funding velocity — rounds raised in the last 18 months, weighted by stage.
- Tech-stack expansion — net additions to the publicly detectable stack.
- Hiring intent — open roles in product, engineering, sales, and CS.
