How SaaS Database (a Clevenio product, operated by Sales Led Oy) collects and processes data.

Who we are

SaaS Database is a product of Sales Led Oy (trading as Clevenio), a Finnish company headquartered in Helsinki, Finland. We operate saasdatabase.net and the SaaS Database API at api.saasdatabase.net.

The data controller for personal data processed in connection with this website and the API is Sales Led Oy.

What we do — and don’t — collect

We do NOT collect or sell person-level data about anyone. SaaS Database is a company-data product. The records in our database describe companies, not people. We deliberately do not include names, emails, or phone numbers of individuals in the data we sell.

On this website, we collect the standard information any web service collects when you interact with it:

  • Server logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp. Used to keep the service running and detect abuse. Retained for 30 days.
  • Cookies — minimal session cookies for the dashboard and form submissions. No third-party advertising trackers.
  • Form submissions — when you fill out a contact form to request API access, we receive the name, work email, company, and any message you provide. Used to provision your account and follow up.

As a customer of the API, you create an account using a work email. We store your email, hashed password (or SSO identifier), API keys, and billing information. Standard SaaS operational data.

Why we process your data

  • To provide the service — running the website, the API, the dashboard, and billing.
  • To respond to inquiries — when you contact us via a form.
  • To comply with law — tax records, anti-fraud, and other legal obligations.
  • To improve the service — aggregated, anonymised analytics.

We do not use your personal data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

Where your data lives

We use Vercel and AWS for hosting, both inside the EU/EEA where possible. For services that operate globally (e.g. Stripe for billing), data may be transferred outside the EU/EEA under the Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Your rights (GDPR + similar regimes)

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct any inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Object to or restrict processing in some circumstances.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

To exercise any right, email privacy@clevenio.com from the address associated with your account.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies for the dashboard session and CSRF protection. We do not deploy tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or fingerprinting libraries on this site.

Data retention

  • Server logs: 30 days
  • Customer account data: as long as your account is active, plus 6 years for tax and accounting records
  • Form submissions (sales/support): 24 months from last contact

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers.
